USA PRO CHALLENGE SIZZLE VIDEO
The USA Pro Challenge needed a way to communicate the story of past and future success to internal stakeholders, consumers and corporate partner prospects and video content would achieve these goals. I drafted the vision and script for the 2013 Sizzle Video, selected shots and then worked with multiple vendors to finalize production.
USA PRO CHALLENGE RE-BRAND AND CAMPAIGNS
The USA Pro Challenge drew excellent crowds and attention during race week, but had little ongoing communication with fans throughout the year. I developed two social campaigns, Million Fans and Summer of Cycling, better grow and engage our audience prior to and throughout the event, thereby elevating partner valuations and economic impact. Additionally, I continued a partnership with Denver International Airport to create Bike Art and oversaw the race week signage re-brand to better position and align the USA Pro Challenge as "America's Race" and "America's Greatest Stage."
The Denver Cutthroats are the Double-A affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, playing in the Central Hockey League. The team started in Spring 2012 and had four management changes in the first 10 months of it's existence. I was selected to join the team as president and general manager in Spring 2013 after the first season to restructure the organization, repair relationships with existing partners and develop new corporate relationships, develop community relationships and set the course for profitability in the near future.
Much like the USA Pro Challenge Sizzle Video, our team needed tools to help bring new fans and corporate partners to our events. The Fan Experience Video provided a simple solution to communicate our product at the start of any meeting.
SKIING INTERACTIVE PRODUCT LAUNCH
During my time as Associate Publisher and then Publisher of Bonnier Corporation's Luxury and Lifestyle Group, my team launched Skiing Interactive as an offshoot of Skiing Magazine in 2010 to elevate engagement for both advertiser and editorial content. Content included interactive infographics, streaming video, personalization tools, quizzes, social content generators - simply awesome content! The platform, all editorial and most ads were built in-house on a proprietary Flash-based CMS. The product brought new life and interest to a under-served brand.
